Monoalleic KCNT1 variants cause nocturnal frontal lobe epilepsy and epileptic encephalopathy. In 2/17 patients, one had a complex arteriovenous fistula between the hepatic artery and the left portal branch and the other had an unexplained dilated
cardiomyopathy.
